M20J Mooney FSX When I switch the dome light switch off it turns all interior lights including dash off

Open the “aircraft.cfg” file which is located inside the …/SimObject/Airplanes/Carenado Mooney

 

 

In the [lights] section put “//” before the line which says:

“light.2 = 4, -3.22, 0, 1.80, fx_vclightcar”

 

The new line will be:

//light.2 = 4, -3.22, 0, 1.80, fx_vclightcar 

This modification allows you to use only the instruments light without the dome light.

With this, dome light is deactivated (not possible to turn it on)

If you want to revert the change, just leave the line as it was before.
