Direct-To text input on SR22T

QUESTION:

When selecting the "Direct to" function on either the Control Unit or the PFD Panel, I am unable to use the Alphanumeric input keys on the control unit. The only way I am able to input the icao identifier is via the FMS knob on the pfd bezel.

ANSWER:

The PFD and the MFD units are separate units, so the control unit only operates the MFD (this is both true for our model and the real version of the SR22).

You can still use your keyboard after having either one selected to input any information.
