Recommendations

Activation File

Verify that the activation file has been created:

Aircraft with SASL 3: X-Plane11_Path\Aircraft\MyAircraft\plugins\SASL3_Tbient\data\modules\serial.key
Aircraft with SASL2: X-Plane11_Path\Aircraft\MyAircraft\serial.key

If the installation file has not been created after activating the product, verify if there is write permission in the modules folder:

Aircraft with SASL 3: Go to X-Plane11_Path\Aircraft\MyAircraft\plugins\SASL3_Tbient\data\modules\. Right-click > Properties > “Security” tab. Make sure your user has read and write permissions.
Aircraft with SASL2: X-Plane11_Path\Aircraft\MyAircraft\. Right-click > Properties > “Security” tab. Make sure your user has read and write permissions.

In the case that the user does not have write permission

Go to X-Plane11_Path\Aircraft\MyAircraft\plugins\SASL3_Tbient\data\modules\ (SASL3) or X-Plane11_Path\Aircraft\MyAircraft\ (SASL2). Right-click > Properties > Security tab.
Select the user or group names or Click on “Edit”.
In the new window, select your user again.
Check the “Full control” or “Write” box in the Allow column
Click on “Apply” and then “OK”.

Run X-Plane as Administrator:

Avoid installing the simulator or the aircraft in paths such as:

Allow internet access to X-Plane and SASL:

Verify that an active internet connection is available at the time of activation.
Add an exception in the antivirus/firewall for X-plane.exe.
Also add the entire aircraft folder as an exception.
Temporarily deactivate the antivirus/firewall during product activation.

Avoid synchronized folders:

Some users install X-Plane or aircraft within folders that are synchronized with cloud services such as OneDrive, Google Drive, DropBox, etc.. This can cause activation problems, as they sometimes block or revert changes to files, which prevents the serial.key file from being saved correctly.
