- Go to the aircraft folder: path_XPlane11\Aircraft\MyAircraft\plugins. Make sure there is a subfolder called SASL, SASL3_Tbient.
- It is very important to ensure that the plugin content has not been modified manually. The plugin must be exactly as it was uncompressed from the original aircraft file. If you have any doubts, delete the aircraft folder and reinstall it from the .zip.
Verify folder permissions
- Avoid protected paths such as: C:\Program Files...
- Recommended: Use paths such as: C:\X-Plane 11\Aircraft\MyAircraft\
- Right-click on the aircraft folder > Properties > "Security" tab. Make sure your user has read, write, and execute permissions.
Review the Log file
Open Log.txt in the X-Plane root folder: Ruta_XPlane11\Log.txt. Look for lines containing "SASL". If there are error messages, this may indicate:
- Corrupt files
- Invalid installation path
- Permission errors
- Antivirus or firewall issues
- Missing dependencies
Run X-Plane as Administrator
Right-click on X-Plane.exe and Run as administrator.
Problem with Antivirus / Firewall
- It is possible that some antiviruses block the plugin due to its dll file dependencies. It is recommended to add an exception for X-Plane.exe and the entire aircraft folder.
- Temporarily disable the antivirus during installation and activation.
- Make sure X-Plane has internet access.
Avoid synchronized folders
Do not install X-Plane or aircraft in folders synchronized by OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. These platforms can interfere with file writing or revert changes, preventing SASL from working correctly.

- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010, 2013, 2015–2022 (x64)
Reinstall the aircraft as a last option
If none of the above works, the installation may be corrupt or Suggested steps:
- Delete the aircraft folder completely.
- Re-unzip the original file to a recommended path.
- Run X-Plane as administrator.
- Activate the aircraft again.
